Nice result for Bram Chardon

Another beautiful dressage day on Friday. There was a large audience and they thoroughly enjoyed the dressage skills of the four-in-hand drivers. At the Country Fair it was pleasantly busy at the shops.

Bram Chardon started the event well. He was the only competitor to score under 40 penalty points and is in the lead after dressage with 37.52. The American competitors Chester Weber and Misdee Wrigley Miller were second and third respectively in the first part of the competition. Chester Weber was in the lead for a long time. Yet he was beaten by our compatriot. Of course Bram would not have dared to dream this beforehand. “I got a very good feeling right away. So I kind of thought it was possible to get below Chester’s 41. Yes, and the fact that I then drive 37.52 is of course a kick.” The test was beautifully relaxed and harmonious.

In the Para division Ingmar Veneman drove the winning test and took the lead in the Dutch Championship.
