Course designer Gabor Fintha designed a difficult cones course. That gave an interesting and exciting last day of the four-in-hands-competition. With oxers and some narrow obstacles the course was selective. Only Peter de Ronde managed to drive a clear round.
In the end the top three of the competition remained unchanged. Koos de Ronde, Christoph Sandmann and Chester Weber all three had one knockdown, so the final standings didn’t change.
At the end of the day the American national anthem sounded for Chester Weber. He won and drove a sublime competition. He is all set for the World championships in his own country.
